THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and as part of the Executive Management Team, the Director of Finance & Corporate Services will be a strategic leader for the Society and a critical support to the Board sub-committees. The Director will directly lead the Finance, Technology, and Legal & Compliance teams, as well as leading, inspiring and empowering the organisation to ensure high-performance, effective governance and sustainable financial growth to underpin the achievement of the Society’s mission.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate for this position will be a goal oriented finance leader, with strong commercial acumen. They will demonstrate a collaborative approach to leadership, with a high degree of emotional intelligence. Most importantly they will be committed to the Society’s mission and driven to improve the lives of people with cancer.

Membership of a recognised professional accountancy body is required, in addition to a primary level degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
