The Association aims to unite and organise members and provide a means for the expression of their ‘collective’ opinion on all matters affecting their interests, welfare and well-being. It comprises a Central Executive Committee in addition to Divisional and District Committees.

THE ROLE

The Association is seeking to appoint a Deputy General Secretary who will be driven by the challenges of a high-profile national role and will help lead the GRA into the next stage of its development.

THE PERSON

With a demonstrable understanding of policing, the person will possess the intellect, courage and outstanding communication skills required to support and deputise for the GRA General Secretary and will act as a strong, compelling public face and advocate for the Association’s members.
