THE ROLE
Owing to an upcoming retirement, the Board of Capital Credit Union is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will provide strategic and executive leadership to CCU, ensuring that it remains financially strong, prudently managed, member-led and capable of responding confidently to a changing financial-services environment. Reporting and accountable to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead the development and implementation of a Board-approved strategy based on clear priorities and sustained delivery. This role offers the opportunity to shape CCU’s next phase while protecting the trust, cooperative values and personal service on which the organisation has been built.
THE PERSON
The candidate selected as CEO of Capital Credit Union will be a highly credible, values-led and commercially astute senior leader. The appointee will have the ability to combine strategic ambition with sound financial discipline, strong regulatory judgement, excellent people leadership and a genuine commitment to cooperative financial services. Candidates must possess a substantial record of leadership in a complex financial-services or similarly regulated organisation, including at least five years at senior-management or executive level. A relevant third-level degree and/or professional qualification, or a demonstrably equivalent level of relevant executive experience is required.
