Established in 1951, the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) is a voluntary organisation and national charity working with children and adults with disabilities. As a Section 38 organisation, we provide general disability services in addition to highly specialist national services along with and in partnership with the HSE and the wider disability sector. The Board of the CRC now wishes to appoint a highly effective Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next stage of development.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chairperson & the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer will take responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the organisation. This is a hands-on role leading a large team of dedicated staff & volunteers where driving decisions and empowering people at all levels to ensure the needs of our clients both children, families and adults are met.


THE PERSON

The successful candidate will have the necessary skills required to lead and develop a vibrant national disability services and education provider.

You will possess a detailed understanding of developments at national and sectoral level in relation to quality and safety within Section 38 disability services.

As the ambassador for the CRC, you will have highly developed communication skills and will be capable of engaging with and influencing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Proven leadership, governance, finance and change management skills are required. You will possess significant experience in developing, driving and delivering strategic plans. Personal values that resonate with the mission and work of the CRC are essential.
